Johnny Sorenson is the founding and managing attorney of The Sorenson Law Firm, LLC. In 2005, after a decade of practicing in the large law firm setting, Mr. Sorenson left his partnership at a law firm with over 480 lawyers to form The Sorenson Law Firm, LLC, with a commitment to providing excellent legal representation, obtaining outstanding results, and maintaining long term relationships with his clients.

James Nolan has more than 10 years of litigation experience. He has a broad-based commercial and civil litigation practice, including construction contract and workmanship disputes, indemnification and subrogation, general liability defense (including first- and third-party insurance issues), and personal injury and wrongful death. He represents clients statewide at all levels, including the justice courts, superior courts, federal courts, ROC complaints and hearings, and private, binding arbitrations and mediations.

Julie A. LaFave

Julie A. LaFave joined The Sorenson Law Firm in 2011. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation including breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information, defamation claims, covenants not to compete and securities fraud litigation. Ms. LaFave has experience litigating professional negligence and product liability claims, insurance defense matters, medical malpractice, aviation claims, and general tort liability defense in both state and federal courts.
Ms. LaFave has a background in complex litigation matters, including oversight management of local counsels in four states for over 100 active product liability, tort defense and personal injury cases, for a large multi-national corporate client.
Ms. LaFave was born in 1974 and graduated from the Arizona State University College of Law, J.D., 2000.

Jay C. Jacobson

Jay C. Jacobson is a partner with The Sorenson Law Firm, LLC. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction law and litigation, professional liability litigation, property tax litigation, insurance law and litigation, and appeals. He is a periodic lecturer to professional groups concerning litigation matters.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University in 1992. He received a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University College of Law in 1996, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class, was a member of the Order of the Coif, and served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal.
He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of Colorado, and is admitted to practice law in the Arizona and Colorado state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. |
